Aveto Wonders Excursions 2026

Thursday, August 20, 2026 appointment with a new guided excursion to discover the mountains and ancient traditions of the Santo Stefano d'Aveto area, accompanied by Environmental Hiking Guide Giuseppe Maggiolo.

The path leads through some of the most suggestive environments of Mount Penna, through woods, mountain passes, vistas, and evidence connected to the ancient relationship between the Ligurian populations and the mountains.

Meeting with the guide at 10:30 AM at the Casermette del Penna.

The route will cross:

• Penna Forest
• Incisa Pass
• Mount Penna Summit
• Glacial lake

Elevation gain: about 400 m
Actual walking time: about 4 hours and 30 minutes
Difficulty: Hiking

Hiking attire is required with hiking boots e sticks.
It is also recommended to bring packed breakfast / lunch.
