Our municipality is located in the Ligurian Apennines, in the province of Genoa, within the Aveto Natural Park.

- From Lavagna or Chiavari, continue along the SS 586, which connects the Ligurian coast to the Apennine hinterland, crossing the municipalities of Cogorno, Mezzanego, Borzonasca, and Rezzoaglio up to Santo Stefano d’Aveto.
- From Emilia-Romagna and the province of Piacenza, the municipality can be reached via the Apennine road network that connects the Trebbia and Nure valleys to the Aveto valley.
- From Emilia-Romagna and the province of Parma, follow the signs for Bedonia and then the directions for the SP58 towards Tomarlo Pass, upon reaching the border, you descend toward the main town.
The roads are fully paved and passable year-round; in the winter months, winter equipment is mandatory in the event of snow or ice.
